This blogspot is not for those looking for gossip... or any other useless time-wasting action. This is for those who like to chill(or party), listen to spoken word/poetry, or the hype. and for the record, if you come here for the hype, then there will be no gossip.
I am Michael Haizlip... most people call me mike, but know me as Mike Phoenix. I do Spoken Word Poetry... AND I LOVE IT. The one thing that blows me the most about the art itself is that most people, expecially around my age, have never been exposed to it. On Black Light Life you will get more than an introdution to the art form itself... but also a peek into the lives of some of those that do it for a living. The ups, the downs, the parties, the poopers, the venues, the slams, the smoking sessions(i mean the cyphers) and much more. there will also be a constant upload of some of the best music you'll ever hear in your life. Check out the links to brother and sister blogs, as well as myspace pages, youtube video's, and make sure you participate(i know its a big word for a blog) in the discussions, there will be prizes for some of you... and good ones at that.
Look out for Black Light Life Royalty... they are members of the group... and have a major affect on what goes down here... trust me when i say they always stand out... and youll know them when you see them...
